Our training and training services include a physical assessment and personality analysis of your horse, as well as a diagnosis of potential problem areas and a personalized approach to your horse's needs.

At Alterreno we train and work all the horses following the principles of natural horsemanship.

With this philosophy we help owners and our students to understand the language of the horse and show them the method of working together with their partner rather than fighting or attacking them.

To create a good combination it is essential to have effective communication even when working from the ground. The world of horses today is full of problems relating to the relationship between horse and rider such as anger, fear, disappointment and frustration. We try to remedy and provide effective solutions to these difficulties, improving the relationship and understanding of the behavior of these splendid animals.

Angelika Schneider, founder and owner of Alterreno, has studied Natural Horsemanship for most of her life. She is a 4 star Parelli instructor certified Parelli Professional, specialist in horse development (one of the 4 in Italy).

To obtain this qualification, he studied for 12 years and spent a lot of time with Pat Parelli (he issues the horse development qualification himself). Angelika and all her staff use the fundamentals of natural horse riding, trying to pass them on to owners and students.

From the beginning of the training the basics of natural horsemanship are taught from the ground and applied in every moment of the work around the horse and in its management.

Traditional horseback riding focuses on the physical connection between man and horse. Natural horsemanship focuses on how to communicate with the horse not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally. There are thousands of trained professionals who teach horse riding in various disciplines, however what is often missing is the mental and emotional understanding necessary for a quality relationship between horse and rider. Our sessions are aimed at building trust and overcoming problems that can arise between horse and rider, aiming for safety, fun, leadership and respect.

According to our vision, it is essential to learn to develop sensitivity and the right timing both from the ground and in the saddle.
